Description

"Single-leg squats" are a variation of the squat exercise that is performed with one leg instead of both. They are also known as "pistols" or "pistol squats". To do a single-leg squat, one should stand on one leg and extend the other leg forward, while lowering the body down by bending the knee of the standing leg. The goal is to lower as far as possible without the knee shifting inward or outward, and then stand back up to the starting position.

Single-leg squats are a challenging exercise that require good leg stability and strength. They can be performed with just body weight or weights can be added to increase the exercise's intensity. Single-leg squats are beneficial for strengthening the leg muscles and improving balance and coordination.
