More time doing plank
Description
A "plank" is a strength training exercise that focuses on the core muscles, specifically the abdominal muscles, lower back, and glutes. The plank position is performed by supporting the body on the forearms and toes, maintaining a straight line from the head to the heels, and keeping the body rigid without arching or sinking the back.
The plank exercise can be held for several seconds or minutes, depending on a person's strength and endurance. The plank is an effective exercise to strengthen the abdominal and lower back muscles, improve posture and core stability, and prevent lower back injuries. Additionally, there are several variations of the plank exercise, such as the side plank or the plank with leg raises, which can add more challenge to the exercise and work different areas of the core.
